Introduction

Hello and welcome to How to Survive your Teens, a non-religious site filled with articles, essays and tips to help you on your path to adulthood. My name is Hayley Deakin and I am your webmistress.

It is often said (and usually by those well past their teenage years) that being a teenager is the best time of your life and that teens have nothing at all to worry about. This, you are aware, is not always the truth: as you grow into adolescence, you may well find there are difficulties that come with being a young adult that you hadn't expected. This site is designed to offer you knowledge and support that will help you overcome these problems more easily.

This site is still rather small, but I have plenty more ideas for essays and I'm always half way through writing two or three at any given time. I always value feedback, so be sure to visit the Forum or Email me. And check back often - the site's always growing!

Update: Sunday 13th September 2009 - I have started writing a book on the subjects focussed on in this website, therefore I won't be updating for some time. However, I will leave the site here and do my best to keep you updated! In time, I hope this site will become a compliment to the book.
